Jul 25, 2007 9:10am: i've had some questions about that calculator. yes, that is a giant effing calculator. it was at my friend's place this weekend, she got it for free at a ducks unlimited event. it was like my body moved without my brain to pick it up and write 55378008, just like i was back in 6th grade. i can't remember my phone number half the time, but 55378008 just fell out of my fingertips.

i miss her. a lot.

but soon! we shall terrorize south east asia. she's such an amazing kid, and i'm super proud of her. i never thought she'd leave my parents' basement, and here she is, travelling the world. high 5 sista.

Jul 24, 2007 2:01pm: since i got back, i have the travel bug in a big way. a friend of mine quit her forestry job last year to drive around the US in her ancient toyota pick up with her dog in tow. i'm jealous, i'd love to do this. so many places to go, so little time. i'm going to pick off 2 maybe 3 more countries before this year is out, so i'm working on it. and i'm still working on my plan to cover the rest.
