May 6, 2007 9:32pm: update: going to be back to stumbling soon. i'm currently sitting here watching blood diamond with my dad, swearing to never ever buy an african diamond. it's been a busy trip, a lot of family time. on this trip, i had 2 main purposes:

1. meet my new niece neela

2. drive my old car down south to sell

the only snag so far - my starter appears to have a dead spot. so, i will returning home "little miss sunshine" style - at least as far as the next town with a VW dealership that can take a look. i did it for almost a month the summer of 1998, so i know i can do it. i just have to avoid having to pee or gas up until i have a decent landing strip for the good ol' push and pop. wish me luck! starting the voyage tomorrow.

when i was a kid, i'd put so much soap on my tummy it'd be white, then i'd draw pictures. my baths were like, 2 hours long and i'd keep having to add hot water. i was easily amused. still am.
