back in the day, before Full Cable Life, my channel 24 (showcase) only came in fuzzy black and white with no sound. you know my love for friday night showcase. the guy i was dating had full cable so we'd watch it together (he lived a couple of hours away) and he'd fill in the audio for me. it was entertaining. when he'd go to make dinner in his kitchen and could hear and not see, i'd describe what was happening in similar objective tones as this guy. it worked out pretty well for us. now i have full cable and no use for that guy.
