i bought her the sock monkey from a wicked little shop on west 4th in vancouver that makes shit like this through employing disabled people. yeah, i know, how socially fucking conscious am i? whatever. it was cute: it was reasonably priced: i bought it. anyway, she loves it.

babysitting, i have locked us out of the house (twice) and gotten my niece soaking wet when i decided it would be a good idea to let her play with the hose.

then we were singing nursery rhymes. she started with "1 - 2 .buckle my shoe."

problem is, all i know is:

3 - 4 better lock the door
5 - 6 get a crucifix
7 - 8 better stay up late
9 - 10 never sleep again.

somehow i don't think those are the words to the kiddie version.
