Dear SU Administrator, I am writing to you in light of the recent banning of megellen.stumbleupon.com for a post that contained no foul language or insults. It was a light hearted, funny blog entry punctuated by pictures of dogs. I feel that she, like a few other users in recent history, have been banned unjustly and should be reinstated. Many users are using administration as their personal censors instead of using the options that are available to them to censor themselves. Users have the capability of blocking, thumbing down users and negatively reviewing them. Many choose not to as they feel that it "makes their pages ugly". So instead, they send feedback to you, and in return you smite the "offending" user's pages down. Unfortunately, there's only one side of the story being told before this action takes place. I understand that you have a certain obligation to the users of SU, but don't let it be one of censorship. Provide the stumblers of SU the knowledge of using the block function and the thumbs down instead of banning users for strong opinions.
