today, i was feeling sad when i got home, because in my shortcut through the cemetery (i love the cemetery) i saw a doe with twin fawns, and the doe had an injured leg and was all limpy. but when i got home and checked my mail (which i do religiously as its the highlight of coming home each day. that sounds pathetic when i type it out loud)i had not one, not two, not THREE, but FOUR pieces of personal mail. a postcard from a friend visiting toronto (i love postcards. seriously. i have every postcard ever sent to me as an adult), a birthday card/bag of tea from my friend anne, a birthday card from my parents (with canadian tire money in it. really funny.) and - *drum roll please*
finally
after 8 months of waiting
my cake "b sides and rarities" pre-ordered cd, complete with scratch and sniff cover.
the cover smells like rose water and the cd? awesome.
i will again marry you, john mccrae.
